🌈 “For the community”

A fundraiser for unpaid pride artists.

When manchester pride went into liquidation, many local queer artists, performers, and contractors were left unpaid for their work.

These were the very people who poured months of time, energy, and heart into creating joy for our city.

“For the community” is a one-night-only fundraiser and celebration of solidarity, raising money directly for those affected.

It’s about looking after each other, showing up with love, and reminding ourselves that community care is where pride began.

Expect an evening of:

🎤 live performances: drag, spoken word, music, and more

🎶 dj sets to close the night in true queer joy

🎨 queer art zine launch: featuring submissions from local lgbtq+ artists, with copies for sale to support the fund

🛍️ market stalls from local queer makers and collectives

🎟️ raffle prizes from manchester’s independent queer businesses
